I am sure an OU player snuck into practice and gave her a cheap shot http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

real class. At least members of all other boards -even Stanford haters showed respect by saying how unfortunate it is for Powell. It's sad that any player can't play, even for one of the best players in the country who happens to play for a team that you may not like.

The opinions of those above are not necessarily those of the rest of the posters who come here.

It is sad for Nicole, but now maybe, just maybe Tara well get that Sebnem girl some more reps.

Sorry, Cardinal. I am very sorry about Powell's back problem. I admire Powell as a player and will be sorry if she can't return at her best.

I too feel horribly for Powell and her teammates. I know how hard Student Athletes work to perform at the level needed to compete at high D1 so it is sad to see an injury to anyone.

My comment was more satirical concerning the endless back and forth from the Cardinal and OU fans concerning the Susan King injury. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Cardinal, you are correct about one thing, she does play for a program I do not like to put it very mildly.

Of course I feel badly about Nicole - we all do. No player, particularly no senior should have to go into the season at less than 100%. However, my attitude toward Stanford is very negative - I would root for the Iraqi Women's National Team against Stanford, and that's based on the endlessly long troll dialog of this summer.

Also, please note that -

the whining HAS begun......
