Watch out for the Jayhawks!! With the apparent signing of Ervin and this great recruiting class, a return to dominance doesn't seem so impossible anymore.

What is the deadline to enroll in classes at KU? Oct 21 seems awfully late to me.

Maybe they're on the quarter system?

Out of curiousity I just looked at the KU website. They started classes on Aug 22. There cannot be any way that they are allowing new students to be adding classes or enrolling 8+ weeks into the semester. The last date for late enrollment was Sept. 4 with a "petition late enroll" until the end of the semester. Plus if she was having trouble qualifying what are the chances that she will be successful this semester in the classroom?

Looks like Coach pulled some strings with the administration. The only thing I think would sound feasible would be that she has been going to school but not officially enrolled. This way she would not be missing class. This is just a theory. Something does not sound right.

Maybe someone more knowledgable on the subject than me can help me out. Could she not enroll prior to receiving her test score because she would have been a partial or non-qualifier and the new and improved test score would not have changed that??

Ransburg was admitted to KU prior to the beginning of the school year. She has been taking classes in an "audit" mode with the full knowledge and agreement of the administration that once she passed her ACT she could officially enroll. This is done all the time for athletes and non-athletes who need some additional time to pass the entrance exam due to a learning disability, which is what Tamara has. It is all on the up and up and the NCAA was notified prior to the beginning of the school year.
