Heard an interesting story about Sanchez today while at the OU practice.(Bales is in and yes she is tall, Sanchez is also in on her official visit.) Geno was watching an AAU team this past summer with some girls he was wanting to evaluate. They were playing Sanchez's team. I guess Sanchez really had a good game. After the game Geno went to the coach and told him he wanted #34 (Sanchez). He was told she was already committed to another school. He asked which one and was told OU. He pulled out his cell and called Sherri to congratulate her. Folks, you are not going to believe the speed of Villarroel. In their wind sprints where they go to half court and back and then full court and back, she finishes a full half court ahead of the rest of the team. She may not be a pure shooter but she is going to be fun to watch just to see her run up and down the court. They think she is going to be a very good if not exceptional on the ball defender. With Jackson taking out the other team's point guard and Marie taking out their best shooter or driver, they will probably cause some problems for teams trying to get into their offense. Anyway I hope they do.
