This just sucks. I can't even think of anything positive to say right now except I am thinking of you, Dietz and praying for your full recovery.

:( What a blow to Dietz, to have this happen at the end of her senior year. And, what a blow for Kansas State with all they have achieved this year.

Kim has much to be proud of for her career at KSU, particularly a season where she was a key player helping Kansas State to a championship. Not playing in the NCAA tournament can never take away those accomplishments and I hope she won't let this moment cloud her memory of a tremendous season.

Best wishes to her as she recovers.

That too bad that's not the way anyone wants to end their college career. Hope that crazy knee heals ok and she can keep playing in the future.

I hate to see any kid get hurt, especially when her team is going to the NCAAs, but I am so glad that Kimberly had the injury after K-State won the Big 12 at KU. At least she got to be on the court to earn that championship.

Great season, she really stepped it up this year and from what I understand she is a great kid. My prayers and wishes are with her.

Nice article on Kimberly and it pretty much sums it up. She so deserved better than this.

I've witnessed several girls over the years go down like that, it just give you a sick feeling cause you know what it is. Like great generals of war who witness their troops go down, coaches move on to win the battle.

my prayers are with you Kimberly. Gah, i hope somewhere out there someone is trying to find a way to help girls not get injured like this. or at least not as many because there were too many this season. :(

It always gives me a big knot in my stomach to see any player go down with what is obviously a serious injury. I never like to witness it and I don't like to read it about it. It is just so very sad.

This sucks to hear. I hope she can fully heal. And maybe go on to the WNBA and get to play some more. I wish her well in her rehab process!
