Any news on the indefinite suspension of the JC transfer? Who was it and why?

The Baylor player in question is Daphney Andre from Trinity Valley Community College. The reason is not given on the athletic department website.

Kim's quote in the paper this morning:

"The day I sacrifice what I believe in to win a basketball game, I better retire. Daphney is a wonderful kid with a bright future. If that is at Baylor in the future, great. If that's elsewhere, that's great, too."

Obviously not much detail, but if i had to guess, I'm afraid this might be a long-term deal. Kind of like Pierson last year, the future depends on the attitude of the player, and whether they choose to work through the problem and grow, or give up and go. I'm afraid the fact that Daphney does not have an established history at Baylor might make it harder to stick around and do what is needed to get out of the doghouse.

By the way, one of the walk-on players was wearing her number at practice this morning. Could be a bad sign, or I guess it could just be that was an available jersey.

My respect for Mulkey-Robertson just moved up from what was already a lofty region.
