Important note on Add-a-Link feature

I appreciate all the help with putting articles on the home page. I need to make a clarification on one thing - if you don't mind. If you can, try to find the original source of all news articles and give them the credit for the article. For instance, sites like collegesports.com rarely write their own articles, but instead use articles from other newspapers, etc. Most of the time they do give credit where they found the article. For instance, this article (http://www.collegesports.com/sports/w-baskbl/uwire/082602aac.html) is listed on collegesports.com but was actually written by John Allen of The Lariat. Please site "The Lariat" as the source of the article and not collegesports.com, although, of course, we can just use the link to collegesports.com - which should give them enough pub.

Sorry to be a stickler about this - but I've always felt strongly about giving credit where credit is due. Basically collegesports.com does exactly what we do here at HoopScoop and that is compile all the news articles that we can, but don't necessarily do our own investigative reporting. And for you inspiring journalists out there - if you want to write your own journalistic piece and have it posted on HoopScoop - then have at it.
