Baylor beat Denver 65-60.
Kansas lost to UCF 71-59.
Also of interest--Duke lost in OT to unranked South Carolina.

Today was my first chance to see the Lady Bears in action this year, and Denver gave us quite a scare!
We were up by 20, but they chipped away and made us sweat it out at the end. Denver had won 15 straight non conference games and was an NCAA team last year. They threw about every defense imaginable at us, but our own defense saved the day. They're picked to win their division in the sun belt and will win their share of games. I'm just happy the Lady Bears escaped with the win.

Baylor did play good D...I saw the shooting % of Denver. Whew!
Good to see Ames High grad Kylan Loney starting for ASU as a freshman. I really enjoyed watching her play at Ames.

what happened to Kansas State?........guess their youth caught up with 'em today....noticed that for as much depth as they seem to have (though it's YOUNG depth)...only 3 players contributed significantly in the stats.....hmmmmmm, is this the first top 25 team that K-State has played?

Add Texas over USC - 66-64
I do wish the Big 12 had been able to do better as a whole over the Thanksgiving holiday. Texas Tech needs to defend the honor of the red and black and the honor of the Big 12 tonight against Oregon.
K-State/Az St -- I expect Arizona St to fall out of the top 25 after losing to Western Michigan over the weekend.

Just as disturbing as A&M's loss was that it was played in front of only 800 fans at Reed Arena. I'm not sure how they're going to turn the tide with those kind of figures.
