Courtney just got a technical foul (the first that I can actually remember her ever receiving)........
for making the statement, "you need to make the call".........
Coach Coale told that would not be tolerated.
OU leads 27-21 at the half.

Are you able to get live stats from anywhere?

No.......only the radio. I think they are going to show a tape delay of the game tonite on Cox 7 around 10:30. Sounds like it's been a sloppy game.

Tried GameTracker and that sucked
OU's really ripping along, terrorizing poor Mizzou into a three point deficit.
I don't get bugged too easily, but I'm working on it.

It's on FCS Atlantic
What's the time and score?
I don't have anything close to real-time info. But I did notice that the game was tied at 44.

Have there been a number of fouls on both teams?
Our "shooters" are 4 of 27
Thanks. I'm watching KSU - NU men on TV and have TTU - ISU stats on the computer so I need your help to keep up with OU - MU.
Did not claim to be sane. :D

I have no idea. They keep talking about one of the Missouri players who is very noticably hurt and must feel they have to play her.
57-50 2:30 left.
We have missed a whole lot of chippies, by the sound of it.........
Missouri scores 57-52 at the 1:50 mark.
I don't think either team is shooting very well. Sherri is putting CP in on offense and pull her so she won't draw her 5th foul. CP at the line now
OU 58-52 1:42 to play
Swish......Missouri hits a 3: 58-55 with about a minute to play....OU turns the ball over :(
Missouri hits a deuce 58-57 with .39 seconds left. OU hanging on by a mere hanging chad.
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Amanda Thompson fouls out and sends MU to the line for a one in one.
FT no good, OU with rebound, Danielle Robinson fouled and sent to the one and one...
no good, CP rebound, missing the put back, Danielle Robinson rebound and fouled again.......
back at the line is D. Robinson: hits both 60-57 with 18.8 seconds left. OU leading.

57-51 with 1:50 left - our perimeter shooting seems to get worse as the season goes on

Finally, we make a chippie ;) D. Robinson steals the ball and scores, about 15 seconds. Thank god we have the Paris Twins, or we'd really suck.
Done 64-57......get on the bus and get the heck out of dodge. Survived a big one there.

Smart shot by Robinson!
Poor Mizzou - Hollins is terrific, they just can't get over the hump. But boy they are tough at home.

Final 64-57
21 turnovers - Paris in Springtime is Nice
The final score makes it look like we actually played a decent game.
Just one more reason not to pay attention to margin of victory.

Bballgirl......who from Missouri is playing hurt? Brian Brinkley keeps mentioning a player that must have to play, but she was noticeably limping.

I think it's Johnson.

Yes, it was Jessra Johnson, as she tweaked her ankle. (I watched the game on FSNMW) She got her ankle re-taped and then came back into the game. She didn't seem to limp or have noticeable trouble after that.
Mizzou did have a very good game tonight. Johnson also had another highlight. She was running the break, lost her shoe but never missed a stride and went in to score. Then she went back down to the other end of the court and played defense, still without a shoe.
Swok, re Courtney's T . . . did the refs tell Coach Coale that would not be tolerated? Or did Coach tell Courtney that? The pbp people on the telecast didn't catch what went on, and I don't recall that they ever went back and showed a replay. I think they finally said something must have been said but didn't know for sure.
It was definitely the Paris sisters show tonight.

OU's radio people were close enough to the OU bench and the ref told Sheri Coale that would not be tolerated.

The play that the T happened on was a rebound and putback by CP...the layup was contested by a couple of MU players and I am sure Courtney felt like she was fouled on the play. Something tells me the tone of Courtney's complaint was not appreciated by the zebras. That ended up being an important play as Courtney had to sit out 5 or so minutes in the second half with 4 fouls. Courtney likely did not help herself as she the 3rd and 4th fouls called on her were both relatively minor body fouls underneath.

I wonder if those officials have ever called a Tennessee game?

Only if they are teflon certified.

The Paris team played a wonderful game.
The OU team? I wonder what happened to them,
I do not understand how a team can play Texas like they did and then turn around and .....
sigh
I really only have one complaint about the Nebraska TV coverage: they kept saying that Nebraska forced X# number of turnovers. From what I saw, Nebraska was given most of those turnovers by a very sloppy passing display.
I don't love these gals any less but I sure don't understand them on nights like this.

I think it's the 'Two Steps forward (Texas game), One Step Back (MU game)' syndrome.
As many coaches have said, sometimes it's better to be lucky and to be good! That certainly applied last night.
