The Waco paper today stated:
"Three-time all-state forward Emily Niemann from Houston Westbury Christian committed to Baylor on Sunday after a weekend visit, picking the Lady Bears over Big 12 rivals Oklahoma and Colorado.
“I think Coach Mulkey is incredible,” said Niemann, a 6-foot-1 forward who averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds last year for the Wildcats. “I’m really looking forward to her. And then when I got up there around the team, I knew that’s where I wanted to be. I love that team.”
"Nieman’s Westbury Christian team has won three consecutive TAPPS Class 4A state championships and will be favored to win its fourth in a row with every player returning.
"This summer, Niemann went to the elite Nike camp in Indianapolis and was one of only 48 players invited to the USA Youth Development Festival at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo."
Has anyone seen her play? Chances of successful transition from TAPPS to Big 12?
