Knowing when ISU played at Kansas and at Missouri now makes it possible to fill in the rest of the Big 12 Conference Schedule Matrix (http://hoopscoop.net/big12wbb/b12sched2003.htm). Official complete schedules are still lacking from KU, MU, OSU, TAMU, or TTU, but we now know pretty much what their conference slates will look like.

OK, who is responsible for that schedule? You want to play AT South Florida in January. Not the other way around. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/tongue.gif (I'm trying to use little used icons tonight http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/biggrin.gif )

I wonder if that is a return game next year. A couple of years ago Tech played South Florida and maybe Central Florida in Orlando in December. Or did the Twister Sisters play @ S. Fl. last season?

South Padre (Los Fresnos) in December ain't too shabby. That second game won't be a walk on the beach though. It may be a son of a beach. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/cool.gif

How do you think South Florida feels? http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif It's bad to play a Florida team at home in the middle of winter but it must be five times worse for them travelling to Iowa in January.

I checked the past three seasons' worth of schedules, and I didn't see South Florida anywhere. I'm guessing they'll play a return game next season.

ISU lost @ Duke 81-63 two seasons agon in a game where ISU was actually leading with 12 minutes left until Duke pulled away. That game matched two top-10 teams. This one will likely have only one, unless the pollsters really give ISU a lot of respect early (and I don't expect it. ISU will have to earn respect this season because of the players they lost.)
