Just wanted to get a thread up for this game. CyRox and myself will be making the trip down to Lawrence. We will try to cheer this team to victory for all you ISU hoopscoopers.

Good luck and have a safe trip!
We received quite a bit of snow on Thursday, but most Kansas roads should be in good condition today.

ISU up 25-21 at half. Started off really slow with a lot of turnovers for both teams. ISU really got hot late in the half. KEEP IT UP CYCLONES!
ISU was down 17-10, but Lacey went on an 8-0 run to give ISU the lead, and it's been pretty close since.

I got this one wrong. The only one I got right was TAMU.

I have just arrived home from the game. First off the weather in Kansas was very good. My last two trips to kansas last year both involved blizzard like conditions on the home. Now to the game. I want to make mention of this but I stress that officiating didn't cost us the game, but it didn't help either. Of course there were 2 female officials so I said right then and there we were screwed. Two calls in particular: 1 was defensive rebound of a ku miss and ku fouled us for foul number 8 and instead of getting a 1 and 1 we got the ball on the side, and the other one was a play were the ku player caught the ball on the run and took 5 steps before dribbling and that play ended up getting a point when it should have been a turnover. But as Fennelly says it's about making shots and tonight for long stretches we couldn't. We held ku to 53 points and that should be enough to get a win every time.
Come on, that's getting old....

No one else was hitting their shots besides Kelsey and Aus. 23 and 13 points for your two highest scorers and 5 for your third highest will win your team no games in this league. Yeah, the officials were bad (as per usual), but we needed to have Heather, Niz, and Joce score more than 3 or 4 points. We fell apart and KU took advantage of it. It's an embarrassing loss but if they learn something from it, things should improve. The problem is that lessons learned haven't seemed to stick for more than a couple of days the past couple of seasons.
