Hey y'all! Greetings from Israel http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif Decided to introduce myself since I've noticed some of you discussing my post on the boneyard regarding the OU/UC game being televised and basketball in Israel in general. The game will be on in two days (two!) on ESPN (cable/satellite). There is indeed one Israeli player on the Huskies sight, Shay Doron who is a junior in Christ the King HS (Sue Bird played there), and while basketball is a big thing in Israel, women's basketball is not quite so popular, although it is a LOT more interesting then the men's league, which is pretty much dominated by one team.
I listened to the game tonight (or rather, this noon) through the net, and I gotta hand it to OU - they played great! I'm hoping that on my next trip to the States I'll be able to hop over to OK and attend a game myself.
