defensive dream team

Since weve been on the subject of dream teams how about a defensive dream team. 6 players

Here's mine.

Jia Perkins TTU
Nicole Ohlde KSU
Caton Hill OU
Plennett Pierson TTU
Stacy Stephens UT

Kinda stuck on the last one but Stephens got the nod because of her strength and physical play.

As for UT players, Hastings is in my opinion the best defender on the team. Stephens is a good rebounder but is not that great at straight up player-to-player defense. Hastings can be relentless.

I forgot about Hastings. Shes a good one. With Stephens I was trying to fill a spot. Her toughness and physical nature was why I selected her.(she would be my enforcer) BTW, didnt she have a pretty good game against Ohlde and KState??

Yes, Stephens had a good game against Kansas State last season (33 points and 17 rebounds). I tend to rank her lower on defense because she doesn't do very well once her player gets the ball. I guess I don't give her enough defensive credit for her ability to take up space and muscle people out of position, which is one of Hastings's weaknesses. Hastings is the better on ball defender though.
