Tiffany Jackson to transfer

Interesting article in the Dallas Morning News today. It states that Jackson has transfered from Lincoln High to Duncanville stating that it would be closer for her Mother to come to the games. It also says the schools she is considering are Duke, UT, TT, Georgia and LSU. It did not mention Florida at all like the previous link. Currently (per the article) she is the #2 player in the nation. I guess the UT faithful will have to wait for her decision patiently. She is an awesome player who can literally play all five positions.

I saw on another board that Jackson had been attending Lincoln because it was a magnet school (not sure what speciality) and that Duncanville is where she would have normally gone had she not chosen to attend a magnet school. I'm sure the coach at Duncanville is more than just a little happy about this.

Duncanville's coach, Kathy Self-Morgan, used to coach at Austin Westlake. If I'm not mistaken, she played for Jody Conradt at Texas. That can't hurt the 'Horns' chances for TJ.

Kathy Self did play for Jody Conradt. She has gone on to become a very successful coach too. Texas has done will in recruiting past players from Duncanville. Ut has had players from Duncanville for many years on their roster.
