Casey Walker, incoming freshman, 6'3" post from the Woodlands torn her acl this summer playing bb. In the past year, that makes three of the incoming freshman with acl's plus Kendra Moore (verbal) plus Wadsworth, freshmen last year, plus Jen Cunningham, her forth which ended her career. ENOUGH

Please, no more. Enough is enough.

I don't think there is anything in women's basketball I hate more than ACL's.
Why oh why is it as a Sooner fan that I have to suffer this kind of torture.
I sure hope Casey has a good recovery. I'm pretty sure Stacey did.
Damn!

manomanoman....I'm curious to see how Wadsworth is doing since tearing her's early in the last season.....I like watching her play. Do you think they will redshirt Walker?....they have a backup post in Beky Preston....by my figuring, it would be late December/early Jan before she would be good to go.

No doubt she will have to redshirt. Really don't know how much she would have played anyway except providing depth. Now they will use Preston to back up Teresa and Wadsworth, if she is healthy, to back up Hill.

Speaking of ACLs, I have heard that Erin Higgins (who was injured early in her senior year)is fully recovered and lighting it up in summer pick-up games. Has anyone heard about the status of Laura Andrews who went down later in last season?

Higgins should be able to play this year. Andrews had to have some repair done to her meniscus and was on crutches for a month so she is behind Higgins on rehab quite a bit. I would guess redshirt for Andrews. Andrews worries me because this is her second acl, one on each knee in the last two years.
