Just got home from the Tx v. OK game and believe me, there is some great talent out there!

Erin Grant is everything she is cracked up to be! she shoots, she scores, she steals and she passes, she also knows when to drive and when to pull up. She just sees the floor incredibly well and gets the ball to the open player. Her court savvy is just amazing as is her defense!

Chelsi Welch is also all she is cracked up to be, great shooter, great moves, great anticipation. She is going to make Coale one happy coach.

Both Erin And Chelsi ended up with 17 points. Chelsi won MVP,
but I think it had to be decided by a coin toss.

Chesley Dabbs appeared to be a solid player. Reminded me a little of Casey Jackson. LaToya Davis showed a lot of potential, but I think she is a work in progress as is Nina Norman who is very quick and athletic, but needs to mature in her decision making. Stephanie Thiel is also very talented.

The one I had never heard of who impressed me tremendously was Andrea Oldham from OK. She had great moves, could put the rock in the hole, was always where the action was hottest and managed to get to free throw line A LOT. When there, she made them. She is only 5'10" but she played much bigger. She reminded me a great deal of Stacy Stevens, and I can't think of a much bigger compliment than that. East Central Oklahoma has recruited a jewel!

Did Melissa Hobbs of Woodward, OK play? She'll be at http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/cu.gif next season.

Yes, she played. Has a nice shot and is a really scrappy player.
She was wearing a knee brace or sleeve. Not sure she played too many minutes, but I was busy watching our recruits so can't be sure.

I'm sure the story is very nice, but I can't read black print on a blac background.

Am puzzled why the link didn't work for you. The link works for me and shows up as black print against a gray background.

I don't understand it either, but this has happened to me before on this site. It is very frustrating!

It's the same article that's on redraiders.com, you should find it there.
