that Gorin won't be eligible this year, probably not even as a partial. Will most likely go to prep school. Wonder if that would open recruiting again or will she be a lock for UConn. One year would mean three or four more hs all americans will be in front of her.

Dumb question here, what exactly is "Prep School"?
It seems to be a NE thing as I don't think we have them where I'm from.
So she goes to prep school a year, improves academics, does she play basketball? Will she have 4 years elgibility?

"Prep school" is short for "preparatory school," which is a school (usually private) that prepares students for college. They are found all over the East (and other places) and gave us that "preppy" look that Ralph Lauren has made so much money from.

In addition to students who attend them for all four years of high school, sometimes students who have completed high school but don't quite have the grades for college will attend a year of prep school so that they will be better prepared for college level work.

Jennifer: If she does go to prep school, she can play basketball to that prep school. She will have 4 years to play after her year at prep school.

Some prep schools are milatary style much like the 80's movie, which I think was called Taps.
