Ok, I'm getting a jump start on this, b/c I did some preplanning for my long and relaxing (except for the Baylor game) day on the couch with remote firmly in hand. Looks like I'm not going to get to go up to Norman for the WhiteOut tomorrow afterall so I'll have to watch it on TV. Oh, well. The possibilities for a new home for my family is worth it.

OK, I was disappointed that there weren't that many women's games on TV today: just OSU/aTm, Cal/Zona & Colorado/KState (even if taped delayed for me). HOWEVER..........

Tomorrow is going to be HOG HEAVEN (no Dale8R I'm not referring to Arkansas although one of the games televised will be the Razorbacks) for me on the couch after I get back from our final walk-through of the home we're about to potentially purchase (not a done deal yet). I hate this home-buying process.

I'm going to have to plan a menu of snacks and drinks. Here's what I get to watch for tomorrow's televised women's games:

Holy Cross @ Bucknell 11 a.m. ESPNU
NCState @ Duke 12 pm FCSA (FOX College Sports Atlantic)
Auburn @ Ktucky 12 pm FCSports (not totally sure about which FOX College Sports Channel on this one)
Lville @ Rutgers 1 pm ESPNU
Vandy @ Tenn 2 pm FCSA
Florida @ Arkansas 2 pm FCSC (FOX College Sports Central)
Of course the sold-out WhiteOut Baylor @ OU 2 pm ESPN2
Stanford @ ASU 3 pm FCSP (FOX College Sports Pacific)
'Bama @ UGa 4 pm FCSA
TBD @ TBD 4 pm FCSC (There was a listing, but it didn't have the teams listed yet, just women's basketball. I don't think it's TX @ Tech, b/c that one starts at 5 pm and is listed on the local FSW channel)
And then to close out this jam-packed day....Texas @ Tech 5 pm Fox Sports SW

And that's not to mention all of the repeats of games I didn't get to see from earlier games on the FOX College Sports packages from either Saturday or Sunday that aren't in the regular Atlantic, Central or Pacific channels.

Well, okay. Now that there are no more Dallas Cowboys games this year, it's nice to have something on TV to watch. (OT: I was a rabid Dallas Cowboys fan during the Meredith / Staubach / Newhouse / Herschel Walker/ Tony Dorsett years, then Jerry Jones happened, and I thought I was done with the Dallas Cowboys, and the NFL. Tony Romo changed my mind.)

Will the 'Horns get a win today? I wouldn't bet against it.

Vandy at Tenn, eh? Hmm ... (goes off to look for remote) ...

Good luck to Courtney, Jenna, Ashley, and :OU: !!!

The day required extensive planning for me. Oklahoma - Baylor is a must, but so is Florida - Arkansas, so I had to see which one I could do on a delay. Sure enough, ESPNU is going to do OU-BU late tonight, so that is the plan there. By the way, those wanting to at least peek in, AR-FL is being carried on Sunshine also, which is where I will be watching. This is a winnable game for the new look Lady Razorbacks.

Stanford - Arizona State is a big one. I do like ASU, and this is really key for them. It's put up or get passed up time for the Sun Devils. There are bound to be numerous replays of this one, so that goes on the back burner. If it turns out to be a Stanford blowout, then I probably will pass it up, but I am counting on it being a close one.

Texas - Texas Tech is another that is required watching. Both teams are in serious need of this one. If Texas loses they will find themselves three games back of OSU, KSU and Baylor, if Baylor manages to beat Oklahoma. And if TTU loses, well, the season is pretty much over as far as contending fror a top seed.

Can't miss the Packer game, so that is being recorded on my computer in HD, a newfangled but welcome thing for me. I'll just do the highlights on that somewhere along the line. Football used to be s top priority on Sundays for me, but it has been many years since I found this much to interest me.

That leaves the late night Oklahoma - Baylor game. No way will I be able to pass up knowing who wins before it comes on, so anything close or a big game for Jenny (there's always hope) or Rachel (much more likely at this point) will make it required watching.

Florida up 45-34 at the half. Many turnovers not helping Arkansas.

Big lead for Florida now, 14-0 run to push it to 77-57. Lights out it looks like.

Final 92-74. Not good. Only bright point would be Brittney Richardson, Freshman Guard from Mountain Home getting 12 points off the bench in the second half. Thirty-nine bench points for Florida, led by Soph Jennifer Mosser with 19.

Tried to switch to the OU-BU game after the Arkansas game was over, but was too late, so moved on to ASU-Stanford. Stanford is making a big run. ASU was up 11 when I turned over, now down to 4

Southern Illinois beat Creighton 71-65 Correction, that was NOT a final. Final was SIU 75 Creighton 74 in OT.

Stanford 60-56. Briann January blew a layup that would have tied near the end.

Didn't see it of course, but the stats were a bit unusual in that Maryland win over Georgia Tech. Maryland hit 36 of 44 free throws, Tech was 6 for 12. Probably no need to say it, but there was a wide disparity on fouls, 12-34.

Five players fouled out for Georgia Tech, including three players who scored 20+ each. Four were starters and the fifth was a sub who managed to foul out in nine minutes.

Unlike Arizona earlier this year, they did have five players on the floor at the end, including two who saw barely a minute of playing time.
