Big 12 - SEC Challenge??

What is the two-game set to be played in Lubbock on December 29th? I just realized Colorado is traveling to Lubbock to play LSU while Tech plays Vandy. Is this some sort of a Big 12 - SEC Challenge? If so, wierd, cuz I've heard nothing about this. Must be nice that CU and TTU get to scout one another right before the season begins.

Triple Crown Classic...you didn't know about?!?!?! Geez... http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif They moved the TTU/Vandy game to Noon so that it wouldn't conflict with Tech's bowl game at 2:30 which is when CU/LSU will play. There is SUPPOSED to be SOME kind of TV though I am not sure as to what kind (local or regional).

Well, I've looked on TTU's website and others, but no mention of a Triple Crown Classic. So thanks for letting me know. What is a Triple Crown? And did they purposely set it up to look like a Big 12 - SEC challenge?

Triple Crown...you know schooner, I have tried picturing it in my head but it just doesn't happen.

Apparently the Texas Tech Women's Basketball office has been working on this Classic for over a year now. It turned out to be really good though. 4 ranked teams...can't be that. Whether or not they meant for it to be Big XII vs. SEC I don't know. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/confused.gif
