South team includes, among others, Texans Alesha Robertson, Tiffany Jackson, Carlynn Savant, Kalee Carey, Emily Niemann, and Leah Rush.

The south team should be pretty tough with all these young ladies. I know Tech and Texas are hot on the trials of all these kids. Robertson is already a Tech commit.

With Kalee Carey of Canyon, Alesha Robertson of Plainview, Leah Rush of Amarillo, and Tiffany Jackson of Dallas, the Amarillo-Plainview-Dallas "golden triangle" of Texas schoolgirl basketball is well-represented on the South team.

I wonder if there is another geographic region of this size anywhere that contains more high quality basketball players than this one?

And I have a question regarding Alison Bales, the 6-6/6-7 prospect from Ohio. (UConn is acting as if she really isn't a prospect for their team, but I suppose that could be a bluff.)

Does anyone know if she is favoring any one team over others?

YCN, Sibyl's recruiting site says:
"Connecticut, Duke, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Purdue, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas, Texas Christian University and Vanderbilt lead."

I haven't read anything else that suggests she favors any one team, maybe someone else knows something.

Kelly Roysland on the North team is an ISU recruit. She is one of a trio of North Tartan AAU players being recruited by ISU (not to say there aren't more I don't know about). The other two are Liz Podominick (one of the top prep centers in the nation) and Megan Ronhovde (who has already verbally committed to ISU).
