Dales-Schuman and Caufield are enjoing the WNBA

Stacey Dales-Schuman has seen it often: LaNeishea Caufield stealing the ball and racing down the court for a layup.
But this time was different. The former Oklahoma teammates were battling it out for the first time as WNBA rookies.

Although Dales-Schuman's Washington Mystics beat Caufield's Utah Starzz, Caufield won some bragging rights. She picked off a Dales-Schuman pass and scored an easy basket.

"I should have known you would go after that pass," Dales-Schuman said to her former teammate after play stopped. Caufield smiled.

The article goes on to talk about them both individually and the impact they are making on their teams.

If Washington keeps winning, as previously posted, Dales-Schuman will be the WNBA Rookie of the Year, barring injury. Forget bird and Catchings.

I was dead certain positive that Stacey would succeed in the WNBA, and now her team, woeful last year, is on a memorable run.

And Washington seems to be falling in love with Ms. Dales-Shuman. Funny how things change, and yet seem to be the same.

Just wait until she really reaches her potential. She is going to be a sight to see.
