I can't wait! It will be my first time to see both of them play this year.

You know I'll be watching! Two former Big XII players of the year. I can't wait to see Dales-Schuman for the first time!

Mystics are dominating at halftime 50-33.

Stacey Dales-Schuman was 3-4 (2-3 on 3's) with 10 points in the first half.

I know that this was a bad team last year, but they look anything but bad right now.

Stacy looked great. They certainly are a fun team to watch. The Fever, on the other hand, didn't run one successful offensive set that I saw. That offense, or lack there of, looked very familiar.

wow, that was quite a performance by Washington. I think I read that 72% of their baskets were assisted. That's a team, and rather surprising that Washington has such chemistry so early in the season.

Query: Just could it be the Dales factor??? A Player who at any position will blend, like a chameleon, into whatever basketball trait is required for the situation. If I was Holdsclaw, I would be jumping for high heaven. Stacey's unselfishness and awareness makes a team better, makes others more aware of sharing as a team.

Well said Metro!
I think the Stacey factor, as well as the addition of a new coach seems to have made all the difference for the Mystics.

I think Washington is a completely new team when compared to last year.....and I think a lot of Stanley as their coach. In addition to Stacey's influence, I've been most impressed with the Miller twins. Lots of folks questioned that they were drafted so highly last year, and with good reason, neither had very good years.....they played on a team together in the offseason and BOTH are much, much better players.....whatever work Burgess did in the offseason is also paying off, she's working into a great point guard for this team.

I just got to watch the game on tape tonight. What fascinated me was the job Stacey did defensively on Catchings. Great ball denial and forcing the outside shot when she got the ball. Most of Catching's 15 points came with Stacey on the bench.

Also, it's easy to see why Stacey is so comfortable - she's playing the same position in about the same offense as last year.

Thanks TXSNOS for the link. As a fan of collegiate women's basketball and the WNBA, this is good news.

AND the mystics win again vs Houston. Stacey played very, very impressive defense as she was guarding Swoopes for a majority of the game.

After the game, they interviewed Holdsclaw and she said that Stacey was the smartest player and the best player she had ever played with.

ooops, the "bolded" player notation should be the best "passer".

That's too cool swok34. Can you imagine how much fun Stacey is having? Getting a chance to go up against a legend like Swoopes. I wonder where one can get a Mystics jersey in Norman?

schooner......hmmm, the only place I know of in Norman that may have them would be Balfour's and I would call before I go; I've never known them to have anything but OU stuff.

I know you can order them here:

Testing my picture posting ability........needs more practice.

Stacey had a killer game Friday nite...20 pts, 4 rebounds, 2 assists.......on 6 of 8 FG shooting, 4 of 5 from beyond the arc.
