Cameron University in Lawton, OK has hired Halterman to be their new coach. Cameron is NCAA-Div2 (I think).

Glad to see he is still going to be coaching. IMO, he got the short end of the OSU coaching stick.

Cameron Aggies are NCAA Division II, compete in the Lone Star Conference.
It's just an irony, not a sign of serious problems at OSU, that the two left at the same time. Dr. Halligan was getting up in years and will leave the office, but is staying in Stillwater and will continue to offer leadership to the program to raise funds for improvements on the football stadium.
TDP leaving for Clemson hurts more, but was simply a matter of money. Clemson has more to offer financially. He'd done a very good job in many aspects, I thought, but also was in place for OSU's drop in several of the sports outside of the realm of FB and MBB. Women's hoops has fallen off, so has baseball and wrestling, which are very important at OSU. The school is dead last in the conference in Title IX enforcement. So there is a lot of improvement to look to from a new A.D.

I just heard a caller on the KREF radio station here in Norman that said that one of the big money donor guys for the football field expansion in Stillwater is somehow affliated with Enron...
