I think it says a lot that the Sparks chose Ross in the first round and kept her through the weeding out time, knowing she'd need surgery.

Seems like I heard a comment from Cooper that he felt Rosalind Ross was the "steal" of the draft, though her performance in the Final Four blew that theory. He had made the comment prior to the NCAA's, so I think they were looking at Ross back in the season. Cooper is big on defense and I think that is what got Ross her position.
