Mizzou grad Amanda Lassiter continues to shine in Houston. Sheryl Swoopes reinjured her bad knee getting on the plane after the debacle against the Liberty (don't panic, it's not serious) and Amanda may get the start in her place in the Comets final pre-season game.
In only her 2nd season Amanda is becoming a key role player for the Comets. Go Amanda!!

What do you mean becoming a key role player???

Last year, I thought she did some amazing things that made her a key to the Comets succes without Swoopes starting last year. She did a great job. I for one never thought she could make it last year, but when she did she sure did help the Comets and Tina Thompson get their wins. She's a great player.
