I posted this on the front page.
here's some quotes about Dales-Schuman.

Start with combination guard Stacey Dales-Schuman the third overall pick in last month's WNBA Draft. The versatile Dales-Schuman can score, pass and rebound when necessary, can play both guard spots and small forward; she just might become the first WNBA player to record a triple-double. The rookie out of Oklahoma will look forward to playing alongside Chamique Holdsclaw.
"I love playing with her, she has some of the best hands that I've ever played with," Dales-Schuman said of Holdsclaw. "It's like it's magnetic and the ball just zings to her hands. Who better to find than Chamique? She knows how to score, how to create, and if we're in the open court and I have the ball, I'm going to find her."

and
"More has been expected of Asjha and Stacey and there has been a little more pressure on them coming in, but they've delivered in every way," Stanley said. "Their attitude is great, they both work really hard, the skills are there, and they are going to be in our rotation - no question."

Let's not forget http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif that former Texas Tech Lady Raider and Big XII player of the year Angie Braziel is on the Mystics' team as well. I hope she can make the final roster. She was really coming along at the end of last season with the Indiana Fever. She was then traded shortly after the season was over. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif I wanted to be able to watch Alicia Thompson and Angie Braziel on the same team again!

I could be wrong, but I think I remember being at a Comets game where Swoopes had a triple double. Yep, I am about 99% sure.

Anyway, it was a good article - hope Dales sets the league on fire and makes the Big 12 proud!

WomensCollegeHoops has an item about Pat Summitt’s recent hiring by the Washington Mystics including a statement that other SEC coaches may feel it gives her an unfair recruiting advantage. What is Pat doing with the Mystics? If an WNBA connection is a concern, the Temple coach is a player, and, I suspect there are other connections in the country.

Jennifer Rizzoti is the coach at Hartford.....she and Staley are the only 2 I know of that coach and play in the WNBA.

I don't think anyone's figured out exactly what Pat's role is with the Mystics....she was a draft consultee and player consultant....some think she's there to appease Holdsclaw.

hey, she didn't take Michelle Snow 3rd or 4th, so that there shows no bias. She did take Geter who left Tennessee to play at South Carolina.....
