How many scholarships does Texas have left to give?

Good get with Yvonne! I'm a little surprised that she decided to go to Austin, but I wish the best of luck for her there. Looks like a solid and possibly underrated class for UT.

The San Antonio Express News stated a couple of months ago that we have 4 scholarships to give. Could be that Marianna Mergerson (who is a senior by college credits, but a junior by eligibility) will graduate prior to next season . . .

Ashley Gayle, Fontennete (sp?) and now Anderson. Keeping my fingers crossed for Ogwumeke!!! With the situation the program was in when handed to GG, not too shabby!!! It will only get better.

I thought Cindy Stein would at least be mentioned somewhere along the way. :confused:

Could this be an indication of things forth-coming in the wbb program at Columbia?

DeMoss is obviously an outstanding recruiter. However, Goestenkors herself was the big drawing card with this one obviously as she was recruiting her at Duke before she left. In addition to DeMoss, we also have Gale Valley who is also an outstanding recruiter. This bodes well for us in the future for sure. Getting Goestenkors will allow us to gain more visibility among recruits that would otherwise have not considered us. Hookem!!!
